Sinkhole at the RockViewpoint

The Rock Viewpoint, a popular stop on the Thakhek Loop, has grown from a scenic viewpoint into one of the newest climbing areas in Laos. This article follows the development of the climbing routes, from the first explorations by Tom and Fai to the extensive route setting by Remy Wittwer. It also looks at the discovery of the hidden sinkhole, which offers a completely different style of climbing from the surrounding limestone cliffs.
